Last month, Hubby saw that Boz Scaggs was performing in SO CAL with James Ingram.
I have never seen Boz live and I really wanted to go.
I have a secret confession – I have a favorite Boz CD that I listen to while balancing the checkbook.
It makes the task tolerable.
The tickets for the ‘nose bleed’ section of the venue were reasonable but I wanted to see him larger than an ant.
The tickets in the pit were $300 +….
Too rich for my (summer vacation without a check) blood.
I will have to settle for watching old videos on youtube.

I lived in San Francisco back when Boz Scaggs was married the Carmella, and Herb Caen used to write about her all the time in his column. She was a society chick, and quite the narcissistic creature. I always wonder what happens to these women when they lose their youth and looks. With her money background, maybe she’ll be able to keep the facade up longer.

What a nice compliment for a stressful Friday….Thank you very much! : ) I am still bummed that we could not afford to see Boz on a “school employee no money summer.” I understand Boz was a college professor at one point in time.
The N that I had the misfortune of knowing was a man; and was not aging well. “The years had not been kind.” I wonder if N women just keep pulling everything back until their navel is at their collarbone.
